About Dr Saurabh Chaudhri

Dr. Saurabh Chaudhri is a highly skilled Consultant specialising in Nephrology and General Medicine. He has extensive training in leading London tertiary centres such as the Royal London Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, and Hammersmith Hospital. He graduated from Stanley Medical college in 2001 in India. His early medical training was completed in Wales, where he also conducted research towards his MD at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Since his appointment as Consultant at Whipps Cross Hospital in 2016, Dr. Chaudhri has been instrumental in various leadership roles. He serves as the Lead for Quality Improvement in Emergency and Acute Medicine and held the position of Clinical Informatics Lead at the hospital for more than 4 years. He has now the training programme director for young clinicians at foundation year level. Additionally, he leads the Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) services and oversees the comprehensive management of a wide range of renal conditions. Dr. Chaudhri's clinical interests include acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, metabolic work up for stone disease, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, proteinuria, haematuria, glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and renal anaemia. He also looks after a cohort of patients on haemodialysis in the NHS. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care through evidence-based practices and is actively involved in advancing clinical research and education in nephrology.
