About Dr Raj Amarani

Dr Raj Amarnani is a Consultant in Sport, Exercise & Musculoskeletal Medicine with additional expertise in immune health and inflammatory arthritis. He specialises in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of joint, muscle, tendon and bone conditions, seeing patients with both acute injuries and long-standing problems, from sports-related trauma to complex arthritis care. Raj works as an NHS Consultant at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust. He also holds leadership roles as President of the Royal Society of Medicine's Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Section, medical advisor and trustee for the National Axial Spondyloarthritis Society, and member of two EULAR taskforces developing international guidelines on physical activity and fatigue in rheumatic diseases. Memberships of Medical Associations: Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Fellow of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine
