About Dr Hina J Shahid

Dr Hina is an award-winning family doctor specialising in integrative women's health, with a focus on personalised preventive medicine through lifestyle, hormonal and menstrual health alignment. She qualified with a distinction in medical sciences from University College London in 2008 and first prize in Psychology, Sociology and Epidemiology. She completed her GP training on the prestigious Chelsea & Westminster training scheme in London. She holds a BSc in Pharmacology and an MSc in Public Health, in addition to postgraduate diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Paediatrics. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the National Association for Premenstrual Syndrome and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health. She is also an experienced holistic practitioner trained in yoga, meditation and breathwork and is a certified health and executive coach who believes in integrating cutting-edge medical science with holistic approaches to fully optimise women's health and wellbeing. Dr Hina is also a medical educator, working in undergraduate and postgraduate training as well as a medical appraiser supporting the personal and professional development of doctors. She has published and presented in over 50 international peer-reviewed journals, books, conferences and national, international and regional events and currently chairs two national non-profit organisations. Dr Hina frequently contributes to the media and has appeared on BBC, ITV and Sky News as well as presenting a weekly TV health show.
