Andrew completed undergraduate medical training in Aberdeen University. Subsequent training in anaesthesia began four years later including time overseas in New Zealand and Canada with the majority of his registrar training completed at Kings College Hospital in London and associated training centres. After completing his certificate of specialist training in 1999, Andrew was appointed to a consultant post at Kings College Hospital in London and also to the Morley Hospital London.. In addition to his UK career, Andrew has also worked extensively overseas and is currently lead for anaesthesia for the international NGO Project Orbis International, headquartered in New York City.
