Mr Alun Yewlett

Mr Yewlett is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Regenerative Sports Surgeon specialising in the upper limb. He was headhunted to work with the renowned 108 Harley Street sports injury team in 2018. He has experience treating international patients of varying levels of sporting ability over the past 4 years and many patients have travelled to the UK specifically to be treated by him. He was the first upper limb surgeon to be approved by the Alliance Medical Insurance Group in the UK to perform the Mi-eye procedure for shoulders in 2018 and still uses this for diagnostic purposes in selected complex cases. He holds a number of honorary NHS contracts at other tertiary centres of excellence where he works as part of a consultant team to treat complex shoulder and elbow cases. In addition to his regenerative work, he is also a high-volume shoulder arthroplasty surgeon and specialises in patient-specific shoulder replacement.
