About Ms Caroline Murphy
Biography
Caroline is an experienced senior physiotherapist, obtaining her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2011 from
Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to this, she gained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Glasgow
in Anatomy and Physiology in 2009.
She completed her training in a variety of clinical areas including neurology, orthopaedics, gynaecology,
women’s health, and cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation before specialising in orthopaedics and
musculoskeletal
injuries 8 years ago. Since then, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings in private practice in London
and has been an orthopaedic team lead for 5 years, overseeing the management of all complex trauma and
orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has worked closely with many of our LIPS consultants for a number of years
providing personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation for their international clients.
Caroline is registered with the HCPC, CSP, ACPIVR and ACCP. She is a qualified Pilates instructor and regularly
teaches classes on a 1:1 or group basis in order to facilitate recovery from injury and to promote health and
fitness for everyone.
She uses a variety of techniques to treat patients including acupuncture, shockwave therapy, kinesiology
taping, exercise, and a variety of mobilisation/manipulation techniques.
She has a keen interest in Vestibular rehabilitation and understands the severity and debilitating nature of
these conditions.
She takes a holistic, client-centred approach to rehabilitation to achieve optimal results for each individual’s
recovery.
